The following instructions contain general guidelines for the assembly, use and maintenance of the purchased goods. Before proceeding with assembly and use, please read this document carefully, as well as any instructions and technical sheets attached to individual products.

General safety rules

Read the instructions carefully: Before assembling and using any product, familiarize yourself with these rules and the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the goods.
Assembly by adults: Assembly should only be carried out in the presence and under the supervision of an adult. If the product requires it, use the help of a second person or a professional.
Appropriate tools: Use only the tools recommended for assembly; avoid damaged or inappropriate tools.
Stable surface and working conditions: Assemble and disassemble products on a stable, level surface, in a well-lit and dry room.
No interference with the construction: Do not perform any modifications or repairs yourself. Any modifications may result in the loss of warranty and a reduction in safety levels.
Children and persons requiring care: Products are not toys. Children and persons with limited mobility should use them under adult supervision, especially in the case of moving mechanisms.

Bed frames – instructions and recommendations

Assembly and use:

Follow the manufacturer's enclosed assembly instructions. Ensure that all components (slats, frames, bolts) are stable and correctly fixed.
Mount the frame on a stable bed frame, matched in size to the mattress and the slatted base.
Avoid sudden point loads (jumping, sitting on the edge).
Regularly check stability and tighten bolts every 3-6 months.

Safety:

Do not exceed the maximum load recommended by the frame manufacturer.
Ensure that children do not use the frame for playing or climbing.

Wall bed mechanisms – instructions and recommendations

Assembly and adjustment:

Entrust the assembly of the mechanism for the hidden bed (wall bed) to an experienced person or a carpenter.
Check if the wall construction to which the wall bed is attached is sufficiently strong.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions strictly – do not skip any steps and do not use replacement parts without consulting the manufacturer/seller.

Usage:

Fold and unfold the bed slowly, using the mechanism according to its intended purpose.
Ensure the bed is fully folded or unfolded before leaving it.
Children should use the mechanism only under adult supervision.

Furniture accessories – instructions and recommendations

Furniture accessories include, among others, hinges, drawer slides, handles, furniture legs, brackets and other elements mounted in furniture.

Assembly:

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding dimensions and spacing of mounting elements.
Use appropriate screws, wall plugs and bolts, paying attention to their diameter and length.
In the case of hinges and drawer slides, ensure precise leveling and the selection of the correct elements for the weight and size of the furniture.

Safety:

Ensure that no sharp edges are exposed to the user.
Regularly check the stability of the accessories: whether the handles are securely fastened, whether the hinges are not loosening, and whether the slides operate smoothly.
Children should not handle furniture accessories without adult supervision.

Mattresses – instructions and recommendations

Usage:

Place the mattress on a correctly selected bed base with dimensions recommended by the mattress manufacturer.
Regularly ventilate the room where the bed is located to prevent the growth of mold and dust mites.
If recommended, flip the mattress every few months to ensure even wear of the core.

Hygiene and safety:

Use easy-to-wash protective covers.
In the event of allergic reactions or discomfort, consult a specialist.
Do not jump on the mattress or use it in a way contrary to its intended purpose (e.g. for gymnastic play).

Maintenance, care and product condition inspection

Periodically (at least once every six months) check stability, tighten bolts and clean components according to manufacturers' recommendations.
Use soft cloths and mild cleaning agents recommended for the given material for cleaning. Avoid aggressive chemicals.
In the case of moving mechanisms (hinges, slides), use dedicated maintenance oils and lubricants.

Procedure in case of defects and complaints

In the event of manufacturing defects, damage occurring during transport or problems with the functioning of the product, please contact the store customer service immediately at www.kavon.pl.
Do not attempt to repair defective components yourself unless you have the appropriate skills.
