Slats: 44 flexible birch slats
Distance between slats: approximately 2.5cm
Mechanism dimensions: technical drawings of the lifting mechanism are available in the product image gallery
Packaging: each frame is packed in a separate cardboard box measuring approximately 200x30x13cm
Assembly: the frame is for self-assembly; please remember to mount the gas struts with the THICKER part facing upwards.
Bed box for self-construction (not included):
Minimum internal box dimensions (recommended length clearance): 120 x 181cm
Box height: minimum 20cm
Installation in the box: each customer must individually choose the height at which the mechanisms are mounted, depending on the thickness of the mattress and individual needs.
Selection of gas springs:
It all depends on the thickness and weight of the mattress that will eventually be placed on the frame. Please note that a stronger piston is not always "better". Below is a selection table for gas springs for individual frame dimensions that fit standard mattresses perfectly. If in doubt, please contact us by email or phone for help in choosing the piston – its weight must be known.
