Slats: 44 birch spring slats
Distance between slats: approximately 2.5cm
Mechanism dimensions: technical drawings of the lifting mechanism are available in the product image gallery
Packaging: each frame is packed in a separate cardboard box measuring approximately 200x30x13cm
Assembly: the frame is for self-assembly; please remember to install the gas struts with the THICKER part facing upwards.
Bed box for self-construction (not included):
Minimum internal box dimensions (recommended length clearance): 160 x 181cm
Box height: minimum 20cm
Installation in the box: each customer must individually choose the height at which to mount the mechanisms, as it depends on the mattress thickness and individual needs.
Selecting gas springs:
It all depends on the thickness and weight of the mattress that will ultimately be placed on the frame. Please note that a stronger strut is not always "better". Below is a selection table for gas struts for specific frame dimensions that fit standard mattresses perfectly. If in doubt, please contact us by email or phone for assistance in selecting the right strut – the mattress weight must be known.
